What is the use of a wand

Do you have to have a wand? Why is it more usefull to use a wand during a spell? Whats the whole purpose of a wand?

It's a cute little accessory. It probably helps to believe more that the spell will be effective. But I have never used one so I don't know.

A wand is used for the direction of energy. It is unnecessary as you can just use your finger or athame.

A wand is used to direct and (if added with the right items embedded into it) a wand can help amplify the projection of a spell or certain spells. It also helps in focusing the mind on a spell a little more than a finger (at least for me anyway)

A wand is not a cute little toy. The wand is a very important tool for ceremonial magic. It is the fire elemental weapon and stands for the power and might of the magician, at least according to the franz bardon book. You dont usually see the wand in most spells. But it is used to concentrate and manipulate energy
