Qualifications?

hmm do you think we should create qualifications? like in normal life there is like GCSE and A level etc and it is recognised nationally. do you think we should make a qualification scheme? that is recognised between all covens? like GCSE= General Certificate of Secondary Education Grade A*-G We could have like CMA Certificate of Magickal Achievement Grade (something) which is recognised throughout Spells Of magic? hmmm anyone agree with this?
the examinations would be given in chatter and can be used to see if they have any skills before you appoint them as council or temp priest. the examination could only be given by priests and priestess' only no council members or members and should be validated by having a record of people who got grades so they cant be forged? i am loving this leader coven idea!

hmm i think of course some qualifications but im all for equality and such so i wouldnt do a test. Just because someone fails a test shouldnt mean they cant join a coven. now if they screw around thats a different story.

its not the case of them being ex-qualified from a coven if they fail its a thing they may choose to have if they want it so when they present it to another priest they can say "oh i got this qualification" and you can comfirm it and you can have them as council etc members however need no qualifications because they are here to learn...hmmmm but should we give out exams like that or only people we feel should have a qualification?.......the members can choose wether they want it or not and leaders can say that it doesnt matter etc

How would you get the entire site to recognize this idea? And if you do, how do you get everyone to even offer the test? Having a coven is like a family or community sort of thing depending on the size. If all of the families fallowed this, it may get out of control, false accusations of cheats or priests and priestesses giving qualification to those they are close to just because they're related and not to mention some may lie about it another coven priest or priestess.

But, if we somehow found a way to force this qualification or at the least partially, it be to much like dictatorship over all of the covens.

And how would you get Pet to go along with it aswell. Covens are somewhat personal things, I was a little hesitant about joining a coven only for preists and priestesses, if the entire site were to be so impersonalized things would get out of control and everything would end up completely controled by the top of the top leaders, there would be rebels and cults against what would become of this place....... I'm all up for structure and order but not that much especially with a "spells of magic website", jeez many people come here to get awat from the watchful eye of their peers or parents..... we all need a load of freedom and a little structure.

But that's just my opinion.

I agree E. But no offense to Pet but he seems a bit controlling so I don't think he'd have an issue with the tests and such.

No, I don't think he will but he'll have to think about for maybe the next 200 years. We've asked him about other things, he's just too busy with all these newbie covens popping up everyewhere......... everywhere, nooooooo we're surrounded.

LOL i guess you're right :P although it would be a good idea if pet could make something like that :P but anyway its only an idea, so if people think its too much it wont happen :)

It's just a ggod bit of work to make something like. By the time it's running we'll have milions of members to assess.

LOL i get that...hmmmmmm thats one of the reason this idea might not work but it would stamp out fakeness that this site is having so much trouble with....but as i said people who want the qualifications can be assessed for them but you people are right it might not work
