also i am partially against red magick personally because i think bending ones will is completely heartless, but if there are some situations where it is good (such as helping a person date in order to heal) but for the most part its just because someone wants another person and because they cant have them, they force them... to me its like forcefully making someone your lover... although i do give love spells out occasionally, i dont do it often because i find it a complete bending of ones will which isnt fair at all or even good(its a bad word to describe i just cant think of a better one).

Thats one of the things we want to touch on here.
When does it become ,taking away free will.
There are areas where you can help somone, and a love spell is totally in order.
There are other times when there is no difference in a love spell ,and what people call black magick.
Those are the type things you ill learn through meditation, and visualization,to clearly judge for yourself.Im not saying one is right or one is wrong, you just have to see thigs as they are.
Id like to hear more of your thoughts on hisuject

I don't think I would ever be able to list all the types of magick lol and some I am just not familiar with. Though Divination did simply slip my mind.

I honestly have never heard of Raven magick...if you have some info please share =)

I'm not a fan of red magick either. I'm one of those people who say that not every problem in life needs a magickal solution. Unfortunatly, love spells are a high demand. Usually because people would rather have a quick fix to their problems and heartache rather than dealing with them.

If we see magick as the lables I have described...red magick can sometimes very easily fall into the black magick catagory.

i agree with you nodrk on the fact that we should see things as it is and one should reach the answer through meditation and through meditation ive come to the conclusion that people who use red magick are just looking for the easy way in and out of things, i mean ive gotten many requests and all of them say "i love him/her more then you could know". The truth is when i further question them on what they want done they ask for the easiest and most effective love spell.

It is in my opinion that love cannot be solved or even effected by magick in anyway other then a harmful one (although there are a few exceptions) and in truth i have yet to see a person come in request to bring back relationship going bad, its only the same kind of person coming for help... they want to be noticed by this person and loved. Sorry but that cant come from magick.

Personally i think all they can do in a situation where the one they love doesnt notice them is to make them noticed by that person. And if i seem like im rambling im sorry :D im really on this subject because i get this kind of mail all the time and it drives me crazy.

Also ive never heard of raven magick either, please expand on this im intrested in knowing about that:D

suppose i want to create my own spell, then is there a particular way that i need to design it verbally ? or is it just the inner feeling or intent thats important?

Spells can be done with no words at all. This is actually a higher form of magick. When you first start out, it's best to write them in an effective manner and use tools to help.

You have to remember that your first couple tries at casting spells may not actually work. That's the time to work out the kinks so to speak.

That being said, I put up a thread about casting a circle because the next 2 threads will be on how to prepare and write a spell....and then how to cast.
