I very much like the altar idea. The altar does also hold a great power and symbolism in Christianity. So much so, that several are even named in the bible with great importance.

I plan on setting up a new one when I move. There just wasn't enough room in the little apartment I am currently living in to set up one. I will be moving at the end of this month to a townhouse.

Does anyone have any information on protection (especially from Demons)?

I've seen the article about Drawing Down the Moon, and calling on the Divine Feminine, but is there a counterpart to that to draw on the energy of the Divine Masculine?

Yes actually and it is called drawing down the sun. This is a real thing but it is often overlooked. There is also a charge of the god spell chant as well as the charge of the goddess.

I make rosaries, and can either point you to several websites, or send you the little booklet I printout and give out with the ones I make. Please feel free to contact me privately for more information.

For the individual with the rosary, I didn't just post the information for multiple reasons. 1) a lot of the how-to depends on what type or style, of rosary you have. Non-Catholics seem to think that there is only 1 style of rosary, but I am familiar with at least a half-dozen. The primary differences are the number of beads involved. 2) there are several different ways to pray the rosary. Again, as a (I would assume) non-catholic, you might wish to devise and use your own set of prayers, or you might want to use or adapt from the "normal" set. When I chose to branch out onto my non-traditional (wiccan) path, I created my own version of a rosary, more closely resembling the Anglican rosary than any of the Catholic styles. and 3) the complexities of the mysteries and the days of the week/year, can be confusing, if you are one to stick to tradition and use the Dominican Rosary as The Vatican suggests. The Dominican Rosary is the most common style and most likely the type you have, but I'd hate to give you instructions on how to pray a 5 decade Dominican when what you have is a 7 decade Franciscan Crown. And if anyone else is interested, I would be happy to share the details of my "Wiccan Rosary"

Hello! It is one of my favourite topics - as I am fairly new to the practice and have been in the closet for sometime until one fine day, my mom kind of told me that she's okay if I want to learn to cast spell (in Jesus' name :X)

I felt odd, to be honest because I am a protestant and we don't have altars to begin with (we don't even believe in Angels) but I am new age so that I am learning to explore too.

Here's my altar (as you can see in my profile picture), a very protestant cross and simple altar. I do want a cauldron and want one with pentagram - waiting for the right moment.
