I was wondering...I've always been fascinated with fire, and i was wondering if anyone knew how to make a fire in their hand. I've tried, but been unsuccessful.

Thank you.

Well, there is a certain oil you can get that would keep you from burning yourself, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend doing that. Setting your hand on fire can't be as much fun as some people would want it to sound.

Rag. is right on that one...
fire isn't something you should have on your skin,
even if you are using special oils,
you can still get burnt and receive a nasty scar.
You can give yourself a fire-like sensation tho by using your psi.

Ya know there is something to be said about the freedom of fire. It has no responsiblity beisdes just to live. Its free to express it its self no mora l constrant no self doubt no body saying no this can not happen. Its pure its free from responsablity. It can hurt and heal. Rag u say fire is spose to be played with resposablity I say have fun. I play with fire everyday.

Hanson; When I say play responsibly I mean be safe. If you want to set yourself on fire that's fine by me, I really could not care less, but you don't have to go posting that it's ok and fun to do so in a place where little kids will see what you think.

If the child in this hypthetical situation parents had any brains at all he or she would be watching their kid and not be on this site. And rag back off its my oppion if u don't like it u can rot in hades. Its called common sense every single one of us as a child has learned not to touch fire let alone set themselves on it.

How many parents do you know actually watch their kid every hour of the day? Some parents actually have a thing called work that they have to do to earn money and in some cases that work involves more work while their at home.

You don't know for a fact that every child has learned that. Normally they wouldn't touch fire because the heat would tell them not to, instinct kicks in there. But if they believe some spell is going to keep it from hurting they might try it and if they happen to have a certain nerve-problem they won't feel it. That nerve-problem won't keep them alive though.

You have your opinion and I have mine. Your's seems to be to have fun with fire regardless of risk, that's fine. Mine is to be safe about it and not encourage kids who don't understand all the risks, such as burning the house down or a friend. The kid may not burn themselves, but if they think some chant is going to keep their friend from burning their are kids who would try it on their friend first.
