Magick is like Lunch. At first, we do it because we are hungry and need sustenance. Later we do it because we enjoy it. Enjoy the taste and the feeling of satisfaction that comes after a good meal or successful spell. Later it becomes a neccesity. We cannot live without it, we need it, it becomes a driving force in our lives.

A spell is like a sandwich. You know what you want the end result to be and you start with ingredients to get there. Bread, peanut butter, and jelly; pentagram, athame, and candles...for example. Then you mix these ingredients together for a spell. Of course every spell, no matter how precise the ingredients are mixed, never comes out exactly the same.

So let us talk about the ingredients for our spells. The pieces we use, the symbols we need. Anything from the pentagram to the circle, from herbs to candles. Let us examine the pieces down to even the triangles and small circles!
