The Bjarndyrakongur is an icelandic polar bear with one horn on its head. It is said to be the offspring of a female polar bear and a walrus or bull.

It's a respectable creature of pure majestic looks. It is said that when it appeared to the Christians in Iceland, leading a troupe of polar bears , a monk knelt in awe to it, and in turn it knelt towards the monk.

However on occasions it can be violent. Such as when another polar bear attached and are from a flock of sheep the Bjarndyrakongur killed the transgressor.

The creature is a sight to behold it would seem that it does not show any evidence of realism of existence, that creature this magnificent should and does have it's reasons for solitude
