Cookie Magic

Cookie magic is a wonderfully fun way to work magic. The idea with this type of magic is that you are essentially cooking up magic. You charge the cookie mixture with your intent, as you roll the dough and cut out the shapes, and can then use icing to decorate the cookies with images or symbols associated with your intent once they've baked.

I love to work this type of magic around the start of the new year because it's a really fun and easy way to work magic for fresh starts and new beginnings, or whatever else you might have in mind.This type of magic is worked so that you consume the magic and allow yourself to more easily draw the magical energies of your efforts to you; similar to how one might do it if drinking a potion.

Ingredients:

• 1c. of Butter, Softened.
• 1/2c. Granulated Sugar
• 2c. Flour
• 1/4 tsp. Salt
• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract.
• Icing
• Cookie Cutters

Mixing and Baking Instructions:

1. Mix butter and sugar.
2. Add in vanilla.
3. Work in flour and salt.
4. Mix well. As you mix the cookies imbuethem with your intent. This can be love, luck, a desire for new beginnings, etc. Work the dough and as you do, visualize the dough being filled with the energy to draw in that which you desire.
5. Place on lightly floured cutting board and roll out dough.
6. Cut with cookie cutter and place on non-stick cookie sheet. (The cookie cutter shapes can be associated with your intent. Clovers for luck, hearts for love or friendship, etc)
7. Bake for 20min. in a 350 degree oven. (Temperature is in Fahrenheit.)

Once your cookies are done, take them out of the oven and allow them to cool. Use the icing or an edible food marker to draw or place designs and images associated with your intent on the cookies. Eat the cookies, and enjoy!
