I reply only that I wish there was a spell to help. Sorry, but no spell is going to change your shape nor your weight. Keep working on it, as its all we can do. BB

You can make a spell to help motivate you to stick to diet and exercise, make sure lucky things happen (you keep not finding that flavor of ice cream you like) and to improve your wisdom and ability to pick up correct information about your health, etc.

If you want any ideas on how exactly to make such a spell you can mail me.

Just remember to make spells that are more specific and clear, not just wishing for miracles. That's prayer not magic

I agree with changedcynic. There isn't a spell to physically change you but rather to enhance what you need to reach your goal. Try a spell to help you focus on your goal. Or meditations to help clear your mind of negative thoughts that would make you want to eat something bad for you. Create an environment that will help you enjoy eating good and exercising because its good for you. Create a charm you can wear that will help you stay focused will help as well.
Good luck :)

You do not need a special diet. They usually fail. To lose weight, eat less, exercise more. To gain weight do the opposite.
Just eat a normal, balanced diet, but less of it!
The spells advised above, yes; those as well.
By the way, eating fat does not make fat! Sugar does!

Eating certain types of fat will make you fat ,especially if it happens to be trans fat or saturated fat.Not all fat is bad for you, because there are good fats and bad fats. However each kind of fat will give you 9 calories per gram ,alcohol (which is converted in sugar) will give you 7 ,carbs and protein give you 4.And any access amount of any type of those nutrient will be converted immediately in fat and stored as fat.So fat becomes fat and anything else too as long as you did not utilize those calories immediately. You can not have excess of anything. You need to have certain amount of calories according your weight and height and this is in case of normal mundane life existence. In cause that you train hard you will need extra calories over the allowed limit.Alcohol is caloric so does most of the drinks ,except plain water.Tea without sugar or honey has only 2 calories. Most people do not eat regular then they starve and then they eat a lot. This also causes the body metabolism to slow down, because the body prepares for times without much food, which causes you eat more ,so much that you feel heavy and takes you ages to digest everything .Idea is to eat a bit, much more often.Like a morsel any two hours. This speeds up your metabolism ,because the body knows the food is coming very regular ,so it does not need to hold down on this fat and store it.The reason why people assume that sugar (all carbs) are the enemy number one and the most caloric stuff in our diet is because we not only eat a lot of carbs ,but we also drink a lot of carbs. Most people do not think that liquid can have much of calories, because water is calories free, however fizzy drinks and juices are loaded with sugar, the alcohol is very caloric too.So lets say you ate already diner that contains 500 calories and then you had glass of coke and 100 ml of it are another 88.
Check the website ChooseMyPlate.gov.It has a food tracker that allows you to track your calories according what you need ,plus you can track your physical exercise and calories expenditure on it.It also tells you what kind of essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals you might lack in your diet that you need to supply via supplements.Fiber is must!
Meditation helps you to combat the stress ,which then improves your digestive system and your insulin production,so you can deal with sugars better.
I agree that spells should be used only to help you to have high spirit and persist with implementing all changes that will allow you to be healthy and good looking. However , remember health outside starts with health inside and other way around. Many people eat because they can not deal with certain emotions and insecurities. The food becomes comfort ,but eventually it also leads to many other health related issues. In case that you are emotional eater and this causes the problem you need to seek professional help ,if the meditation does not help you to deal with it.

Interesting fact to be known is that the favorite fuel to our brain is actually sugar ,calories achieved via breaking down fat can not be good substitute for the carbs on long run this will cause serious damage. So eat your carbs ,but in moderation and make sure that those carbs go along with some fiber ,rather than just coming from pure sucrose ,maltose and fructose.Moderation in everything is the key along with having good variety of all essential nutrients.

Good work artindark, you taught me a lot about health and losing weight, though I'm not really looking to right now, but I can keep that in mind now. And best of luck to you too Diligent.

Everyones body is different. I lost a hundred pounds in the past just by skipping breakfast and changing my daily vitamin to one with ecgc or green tea extract. Over a one year period. Then i added excercise and lost about 25 more pounds. I kept it off for about ten years but obviously am dependent on it. Guess i will go back to what works.

Diligent, skipping breakfast is a terrible idea. In fact most doctors recommend larger breakfasts and progressively smaller meals throughout the day. It's not a good idea to consume most of your calories before you are inactive and sleeping But that's irrelevant. I've posted my instructions for a weight-loss talisman to Diligent's mailbox, but here is a copy for the forum incase anyone needs it.

Alright, I think what would work best for you would be creating a talisman, because it'll help you keep the magic with you and active.
This process will be long, annoying, and draining, but remember that the more work you put into a spell, the more you get out.

Before you start worrying about supplies for a talisman, don't worry. By talisman I mean cheap paper piece of junk that you can fit in your pocket.

The way that I get magic to stick to talismans is by using the old runic alphabet "Elder Futhark". Each rune corresponds to a letter, has a name, and carries magical meanings. Runes were used by pagan priests in scandanavian countries for divination and magic.

Spells of magic doesn't carry font support for runic letters, so I'll just be giving you the names of the runes in English and relying on you to google them so you know what they look like

Before you even start, you are going to have to create a bindrune for yourself. A bindrune is like a signature and it represents YOU in any spell that involves runes. To make one, google "Elder Futhark" and find the two/three runes that represent the intitialls of your name. Then write them on top of eachother in a pleasing and semetrical way. You might enjoy this, as bind runes, and the runes that make them up can reveal something about your personality.

READ ALL INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE BEGINNING. There is a lot of prepwork and a lot of the magic requires personal knowledge

Materials:
Pen (Preferably red or black)
1'' * 11'' blank paper strip (just tear it off a pieve of computer paper)
A written copy of the runes and their names so you don't forget them while your doing the ritual
A box or piece of fabric of value to you that you can use to cover the talisman

The runescript (series of rune letters you're going to use)
Ansuz - Represents wisdom and communication. It starts the magic of the talisman, so the spell will start when you start looking for and getting info on weightloss. It'll help you find good sources and allow you wisdom in your decisions

Bindrune* - write your bindrune so the spell knows who the wisdom, and the spell in general is for

Dagaz - rune representing day or a new day in this case, giving you luck and a fresh start

Hagalaz - its most literal meaning is hail, but it also removes distractions and impediments. Just think of it as a bunch of hailstones slamming into any temptations which can knock you off track, or even hit you if you don't get with the program.

Jera - Means year and represents growth and success over time, rewards for hard work

Wunjo - means joy, and as it is almost the last letter in the script, it means that no matter what happens the spell will create happiness.

Ingwaz - keeps the spell from fading away.

I would like to point out that the runescript is seven symbols long, which is a number of magical significance and can power up the spell even further.

Now for the actual spell:
1. Meditate, ground yourself, whatever you need to prepare for a nasty power intensive spell.
2. Bring your materials into the place where you'll be doing spell work.
3. Use your personal magical power, or a broom used only for ritual purposes to clean your spellwork are of all energies that can interfere.
4. Construct a magical circle to prevent interference and help gather magical energy. If you need to know how to do this, ask me or look through the forums.
5. On each side of the paper you'll want to write your runescript seven times. It helps if they are evenly spaced apart.
6. While you write each rune, chant the runes name and think as hard as possible about what each rune's place is in the spell and visualize it happening to you. As you do this some energy will leak from you, through the pen and ink and into the shape of the rune. Remember that runes are magical by their very nature so this is adding a lot of juice to the spell.
*Remember that while you write your bindrune, write the parts of it in order of your initials, chant the name of the rune component you're currently writing, and think about what that part of your name means to your identity
7. When you're done doing this to both sides of the paper. Use a bit of your saliva to cover each rune on the paper strip. This is a bit like giving the runes life-blood.
8. Fold the strip of paper into a flat pentagon. The process to do this is the same for making those little oragami stars. I've included a link with directions: http://www.origami-instructions.com/origami-lucky-star.html
Your strip is thicker so the pentagon disk will be larger. And don't do the last step of pinching the edge. You might want to practice this.
9. Cover the talisman either by putting it in a box, or by wrapping it in a fabric nine times over. Walk around the covered talisman nine times while speaking alound what you want the talisman to do. Be somewhat specific. Visualize the energy in the talisman growing.
10. Uncover the talisman and bring it to your lips. Chant the runes in the runescript fourteen times while thinking about what the runes will do. Very time consumming, but also serves to give the "breath of life" to the talisman. You can now think of your talisman as almost a primative living thing.
11. Tap the talisman three times to get its attention, tell it its purpose, and name it if you would like to.
12. Raise it over your head and chant ANSUZ LAGUZ URUZ. These three runes are always spoken or written at the end of rune magic. It's almost like a runic version of so mote it be.
13. Congrats your spell is done. Carefully undo the magic circle and carry the talisman in your pocket. Start looking up reliable information about weightloss. I recommend talking to your primary care physician about wanting to lose weight and reading "The End of Overeating: Taking Control of the Insatiable American Appetite" by David A. Kessler.

I hope you find this information helpful
