In a way you can recall certain things from past lives. The thing is, you can't just say you know it's a recalling from a past life for it isn't like that.
You may have gut feelings, strong inquiries, or insights.

One guy was saying that the girl probably in past life was witch, that's why she could do the ritual. It was her soul memory or even blood memory (as her grandmother was a witch)... so I am trying to find more info :)

What you are referring to is better known as Akashic Records because the soul is the essence of you that is interconnected with the essence of everything with life in the universe.
Good post white! But that is a term for a place. Some people believe it, while other's don't. However the akashic records are seen to be a place where you astral travel too in your deep conscious form, or sleep. Here you can answer questions, ask, and see some of your fitted, or past life.
Although soul memory can be astral travel, or like Eyesoapollo said, a intuition or Daja Vu moment. This can be seen from maybe dreams, or even past life's.
If your a Wiccan, many will too believe in recarnation. This is a way from learning, and is a really good way to express those weird gut moments.

The first name that comes to mind when I think of the Akashic Records is Edgar Cayce, although I'm sure there are other good books about the topic, I would start with the Book of Life.
Hi, so after some struggle I finally got my hands on Cayce book about Akashic records :) but after reading it - I was a bit disappointed.
The whole idea is amazing and I would like to learn more, but Cayce did commercial on it - he infused his idea with Christianity and citations from bible, while Christianity opposes to karma, reincarnation, meditation, chakra theories.... and also no technique given how to reach Akashic..
So now my question is - does anyone know any technique or method how to reach Akashic? Have you read about it? Have you tried? :)
I can google books about methods myself, what I want to know - does anyone tried reading Akashic? Have it worked for you? :)
