Seeing Silhouettes??

Hi MeatWad, well, lets see if I can answer all your questions. ;)

1. Yes, I have tried walking up to them or touching them, when they have stayed around long enough for me to do so, but I never had enough time to actually touch them. They'd usually disappear before that.
2. Yes, they seem to randomly show up. I don't seem to see any pattern to when they show up. They just do.
3. No, no one else, to my knowledge, has seen them when I have.
4. No voices or noises of any kind.
5. I have tried meditating, and minor summoning, but they don't show up "on demand".
6. I have not tried the recording yet though. I just may, who knows, I might pick up on something. :)

I believe what you are seeing are impressions of the past. That is why they do not respond to you and why some seem like they are from a different time period. Some call these astral shells. They're basically the left overs of a life once lived. The residual energy. Depending on how much you do in your life and how tied down you are to this world, even after the spirit moves on, that energy linked stays around. And it generally plays out certain events over and over again until it dissolves. Most hauntings that repeat a certain sound or action at a certain time every night are actually mindless impressions of the past. Most of the time they're a traumatic or violent event that triggers the most noticable ones. Emotions seem to make them far more tangible.

Why they are black and 2D for you, I am not certain. The only thing I can consider is that this is just the way your mind perceives it or perhaps you cannot see the definition and color in them because you are just not that skilled in seeing spirits. Have you ever seen a full color 3D apparition in your life? If this is all that you see then this may just be the level of your clairvoyancy.

If it only happened at night I would consider the lower worlds, but that doesn't seem to be the case. And shadow people are known to interact just as much if not even more than ordinary spirits.

I've seen them since I was 3. I've never spoke to or interacted with them, because they scared me.

I think I would have to agree with WhiteRav3n and Fiend. The more I read and see what other people have to say about their (somewhat similar) experiences I think it's Clairvoyance. I am seeing impressions of the past. As WhiteRav3n said, I too am not sure why they are in 2D form, but perhaps with a bit more practice I can begin to see more of them. *shrugs* In any case at least I am far closer to understanding what this is. :D

They are maybe ghosts in astral plane who can't cross over to nowhere, maybe you can help them, I also sometimes see entities in colors, and even more in a black figure, but only for a second or two. I believe when you see some entity in color means that you know them, maybe not now in this life, but knew them before, and that you're not aware of this. You know that when you become aware of something that you have not realized before can be felt as an epiphany and at the moment you realized that thing feels like another "door" has been opened and you in your mind expand and create a "new" reality for yourself.

Shadow people are not scary in my opinion. I talked to one. They are just shadows. They won't hurt you. This is my opinion. Hope this helps.

Yes you could, but they are still not scary to me. A shadow is a shadow. They won't harm you. They might try to scare you though. They feed on fear. That's why you don't get scared.
