Truth Spells

Hey I'm new to this site and here are some questions I have about truth spells. Can a truth spell be used to figure out if another spell is true? What would happen if I asked a truth spell if it was true? Also what about asking a truth spell a paradox? Like "Is the sentence 'This sentence is false.' false?"
Or something completely nonsensical like "How many blues does it take to fill up an apple?"

Those are just some questions that sprang to my mind as I was reading them. Tell me what you think

I think you have a misconception of what truth spells are. Truth spells are generally meant to compel people to speak only the truth, reveal hidden truths, etc... It is in essence generally directed at other human beings rather than inanimate things such as written spells. Of course divination might be used in conjunction with a truth based spell to divine truth in things such as whether a written spell is legitimate, but normally you can discern this by examining the spell.

Thanks, I thought a truth spell was like asking some higher power if something was true, rather then trying to get a secret from another person.
