I would say that when you were angry you saw the small wind storm start to form. The wind storm held your attention so that you were distracted from the focus of your previous thought process of being mad. As I have said before where your awareness goes, your energy flows. As your awareness was no longer on your anger, you no longer put any energy into it and naturally returned to a more balanced state. So, in essence, you probably didn't create the wind storm, but it did help you calm down.
