I am Tiredofgaggs, the priest of the Higher Magicks coven. If you are interested in learning more about high magic I hope you will apply to join.
I have been practicing magick since 1989, and am one of the founders of the Lodge of the Magician, a local lodge dedicated to the study of ceremonial magick and spiritual development. I am a member of the Golden Dawn and the RR et AC. I have practiced meditation since I was 13. I am an Reiki Master in Gendai Reiki, Komyo Reiki, Usui Teate, Sekhem Reiki and Usui Reiki Ryoho. I also hold black belts in Karate, Jujitsu and Aikido and have studied many other arts. I am currently majoring in psychology. I am also a clinical hypnotherapist. I am looking forward to sharing information and learning from everyone. I am now also a member of the American Tarot Association.
I am here to learn from, and share what I know with, others serious students of magic. Everyone has something to share, and even if you ask a question it can help open new directions of thought for the person answering. However, if you are emailing me to cast a spell for you to make someone fall in love with you, get a new iphone or turn you into a vampire (and yes, these are all actual requests people have made), don't bother sending that email. There are no vampires or werewolves, so don't send those emails either. I'm not here to play fantasy games. If you want to know what magic can do, how to get started or anything else reguarding magic, I welcome your email.
Instructions for those new to magic:
If you are looking to start learning magic, go here: http://www.thegreatwork.webs.com/ Watch all six videos. Then, start learning.
Start with medtation, energy work and basic ritual, in that order. I recommend Silva Life Systems for meditation and some form of Chi Kung for energy work. Basic ritual is going to depend on the tradition you choose to follow. It could be the LBRP, opening of a circle, honoring the gods, etc.
Do the meditation training first, and do it often. You will never stop practicing it. When you have gained some success in meditation then start the Chi Kung. While you are doing these, start to research different traditions. When you find the one you want to follow, it will have basic ritual or spell work for you to do AFTER you finish studying Chi Kung.
