To gain more mana you have to play more Lands, right?

Just messin' with ya, but to be honest the only times I've heard mana discussed in length are reading RPG guides. I've heard of it as a synonym for chi/ki/qi/prana etc but I guess it isn't a very popular term?

Mana is usually associated with the earth and is denser than Chi, Prana or other breath oriented versions, at least according to the descriptions of how it works, how it is called up and from how it feels. It is, for example, brought up during the hula dance, for example, and other body movement exercises. The force, however, permeates all of nature. Lava rock from Hawaii is considered charged with manna, and many have taken samples after visiting the islands. The Hunas, however, supposedly put a curse on the stones to bring misfortune to anyone taking soil from Hawaii. People who took stones ended up mailing rocks back to the island and there is a pile of stones that have been "returned".

Manna stones are simply rocks that are charged with energy from a power area, probably volcanic in nature.

The word mana always makes me giggle. It is very common in roleplay games and such. Most witches will not use that term. And a mana stone makes it worse. Can one use stones to channel energy? Yes. Does a normal witch call the stones mana stones? Nope.

If you are wanting to deal with energy, it is very easy. No stones are actually required! The first step would be learning meditation and visualization skills. It is through visualization that one masters manipulating energies. You will also want to study the aura and chakra systems. They have a huge effect on energy work.
