Greetings Sis! Beloved, while I feel where you are coming from and I understand the situation, but this is not the RIGHT or CORRECT intent for desiring to learn magic. With magic, it is more about concentrating on yourself - like desiring what you want as contrasted with what you don't want (which works according to Universal law's Law of Attraction). Everything external is a reflection of your internal, Beloved, and if you want to forever change negative external circumstances, then all you have to do is change your inner self and world which is a magnet for the external world's circumstances (which merely are the inner world's demon's equivalents). Beloved, I shared with you last week where everything starts: THE MIND! That's why the brain (which houses the Mind) must be cleansed and kept pure, but the Matrix always has us messing it up by eating junk foods, smoking (cigarettes/weed), drinking intoxicants (spirits: beer, wine, etc.) and other acidic effervescent beverages ....

The Mind is your magnet for attracting all that you want. Beloved, Magic is the art and science of causing change to occur in conformity with will. You must begin to develop a STRONG WILL. You must start knowing what you want and consciously so. Life cannot be lived by default, but by conscious intention (intentioning) or deliberate creation (creationing). Magic is a mental science and mental science is where you need to start in order to learn about true magic.

There are various ways to copyright such a thing.
I say do so,
let the fool steal it,
let him make money off it,
sue him and get his profits.
That way he does the work
and you get paid. :)

If your boyfriend has any type of file regarding the song on his computer (ie. lyrics typed out, music written on the computer, upload of him singing the MP3, etc) it will have a DATE STAMP on it that will prove it is his. Have him contact the mixer and tell him that the song is copyright to him, and that if he uses it in any way, shape or form he will be hearing from a lawyer (copyright exists as soon as something is created).

On the magical side of things, Hoodoo the CRAP out of the mixer. Seriously--if he's doing this to your boyfriend, he's likely done it to others and will do it again. I suggest a simple hot footing, as well a honey jar to entice him to give the files back.

Morion: Thank you. :)

Ben: I agree. "Universal love"...blah blah blah. *eyeroll* If someone "effs" with me or mine, be prepared to get it back ten times as hard---if not mundanely, then magically. ;)

This happened to me in the mid '90's. When it did, I was extremely angry and upset. As it turned out, it was the best thing that could have happened to me musically. I had played the song in several gigs that were video taped, and sent myself a dated copy. I couldn't prosecute the independent label that picked up the song, they had too much money and were too well connected, but I could prove that it was mine. This launched me from starving artist to legitimate song writer over night locally. I enjoyed two years of playing many, many shows and even selling a few songs. None of them were big hits, but I did get my ugly mug on local TV stations a few times and was able to play music until I grew tired of the lifestyle. It really sucks when this happens, but it can turn into a positive. If nothing else, he can have confidence that his music is good enough for someone to steal.

you could put a curse on the words of the song and that if anyone but the true singer sings, something friggin bad happens to them.
