Mary Magdalene was a powerful and wise female Apostle of the early Church. She is the Patron Saint of Women and as such she is a powerful opposer of Patriarchy.

Mary Magdalene, Apostle of Apostles, I ask that you empower the women of the world and challenge the foundations of Patriarchy in religion and governments. May you soften the hearts of politicians and religious leaders, so that women will be seen as equal to men in all parts of the world. Mary Magdalene, pray for us, for without your glorious intercession the world may fall into darkness.
