HAHAHA, aim wand at attacker and they will either start laughing our use the opportunity to attack you. This is not Harry Potter. Nothing will happen to the attacker. You put yourself in more danger attempting this. Saying a protection chant before leaving your house is useful, but more for spiritual and energetic dangers. If someone physically attacks you, you need to respond with a physical defense.
