You will need the following items for this spell:
An item (Preferably silver, water proof, and fire proof)
A bit of yourself (Caution when using soul - blood and/or hair work)

When in contact with a spirit open yourself to it. Say nothing, do not move, do not resist. Let it flow into you. As it's flowing put a hand to the object you've chosen and push the spirit deeper and into the container. Once this is done speak, 'I bind you now into a prison of (The marital of the object)' Block the way out by tieing your hair, dropping a drop of blood, or simply portioning out a bit of your soul into/onto the object. As long as that seal last, be it blood hair or soul fragment, the spirit will be bound.
The bit about putting a piece of your own soul in there does, yeah. How possible that is I don't know. Some believe that pieces of your soul can go missing due to trauma and have to be retrieved by a shaman, so maybe. It's not something I'd recommend doing deliberately.
