The child intended for the fairy must be present. Place the flower on top of the leaf and say the spell, "Oh, winged people. Tiny like me. I need a friend to play with me. Grown ups don't know how to be. So, gae, come and play. Sing and make me happy, tiny thing". Have the child repeat the words as well.
Your child does not have any friends so you choose to bother the fae. For the record, fairys are not sweet little cherubs who dance and laugh all day. Do some research on their mythology. Fairys have been known to be very spiteful and some legends tell of them stealing babies and replacing them with their own children. I am not saying do not work with the fae, many do, I am saying research them, do not assume what you saw in a movie is accurate to reality.
wow this is freaky. However it's meant to be ''fantasy spells'' meaning that it's going to end up hunky-dory, of course. there's no bad ending there, the worst that can happen is that the spell doesn't work.
Where on earth did you learn ''fantasy'' means ''happy ending?'' Disney might put a happy little bow on a fairytale, but that is not always the case. The original Snow White has the evil queen being forced to dance at the wedding in burning iron shoes until she drops dead. Cinderella had the step sisters hacking off pieces of their feet to fit into the glass slipper and ends with their eyes being gouged out by bird. Little Red Riding Hood ends with her being eaten. Nobody saves her. The revised ''nice version'' the wood cutter cut her out of the wolves stomach. Fairytales are morality tales. Sometimes bad guys win. Fairys throughout history and culture can be cruel, ugly, and spiteful. They are not evil, but they are far from sweet little people with butterfly wings skipping around a grove of flowers waiting for a human to come along and join in on their whimsy. Fantasy by definition is ''the act of imaging fantastical things'' it is not ''everything will be okay.'' The fantasy section on this website is designed as a place for non-working spells. Yes, fairys, vampires, werewolves, meremaids, dragons and more are beings that exist on other planes of existance, but it does not mean ''turn into a meremaid'' or ''have your own fairy'' will work. There are still rules and laws to follow with Magik, despite people believing otherwise. The worst thing that could happen with a fake spell is not the spell not working. You build up energy with nowhere to go. Energy has to go somewhere, it will return to you and probably do harm in the process. This spell, you are offering up a child the the fae. It is fake, but a passing fairy might here you offering the child and snatch it, curse it, or turn it into their plaything forever. Fairys have different morals than us, so a ''funny prank'' could be anything from hiding the babys pacifier to locking them in a closet. Also, you called them a ''tiny thing'' which could be viewed as an insult and get you cursed by a fairy. You need to be wise when working with the fae. Research and know what you are doing before calling on them.
Sure, I know that fantasy doesn't mean happy ending. But I'm pretty sure that the creator didn't exactly want to have this story end with stealing babies and spiteful fae. Yes, I have researched them. And yes, I know that original stories are way darker. One of the versions of the Little Mermaid has Ariel dying or another version had one of the princesses committing su****e. Sure, it's dark. Even still, I do think the creator should have researched a bit. And also, ''your child does not have any friends'' almost made me laugh but then I stopped midway in the laugh because of how dark fairies actually are.
