Some updates are coming this weekend to coven spell books.
The first:
Council and Leaders can now upload their own photos. This is done from the spell page itself. Images will be reviewed and may be removed by mods if they do not fit our guidelines

For now it is just the header image that can be edited. There are other changes with spells/articles coming in the future which would allow imbedded items (photos/vids) but thats not happening today.
Hello, PastaSalad. If there is already a High Priestess, you cannot promote another. If not, make sure the person you want to promote has their gender set to female, then it should allow the promotion. That's what my coven had to do in order to promote our Priest, as it won't give you the option unless the corresponding gender is selected on their profile.

Ok, next round of updates for Covens:
The site's main Coven page has some minor edits (and a new URL, the old URL should forward to the new one)
Individual Coven pages now have a "Spell Book Editor" link (only Priest/ess level members can see this)
Coven Spell Books Pages (just the Spell Books, not the articles or Videos yet) have been updated
In short: these new spell books pages are the new way spells will be displayed on the site. If you are a member of the coven, you will see all the spells the coven has added, if you are not a member, you can only see the ones which are public. Leaders have some ability to customize these pages from the new "Spell Book Editor" link.
Covens are encouraged to use these features and have at least a handful of spells made public as a tool to promote their covens to potentialmembers.
The URLs of your coven's main page, and pages for spells (not articles or videos yet) have changed, and redirects should automatically send you to the correct new page if you have an old URL bookmarked or linked from someplace.
Let me know if you findany errors with redirections or the new functionality
