Building a spell kit?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this...

Is it necessarily possible that I could say, go to the grocery store and get things to build my own spell kit? As resources are slim for me at the moment I don't know where else to turn, and my mother wants me to make my sigils and spells more powerful.

Thank you for any help you guys can get me!

Yes you can buy things from the regular store. You just have to be creative.

Thank you, Nord. And my apologies for not placing this thread in the correct place first.

Also, what about writing a spell and using said ingredients? What if I don't know what ingredients go with what?

Yes: You can gather whichever ingredients you want or need, and build your own 'kit.'

Grocery stores are a pretty good resource for a lot of things, especially kitchen herbs, and you might be surprised what you find in their candles sections. But don't forget about discount stores and dollar stores! Also craft stores have frequent sales with very useful items going for half off, and I know of some craft stores which give out 40% off coupons all the time.

As for what goes with what, you have the world's knowledge at your fingertips. The Internet abounds with this information. You can find correspondences for herbs, stones, colors, and more.

Creating your spell starts off with what you want to do. And you don't need to go to a special store to get your supplies. Additional items in your spells gives it a little extra. If you need something to put your potions in? The dollar store always has travel bottles, and tea candles of all different collars, so you can get a bunch of different candles of all different sizes if you choose to use candles. The grocery stores has everything and everything you could need for containers, herbs, and whatever else you need, and just google what kinds of colors and herbs or whatever else you need would be best for you in your spell. But most importantly it's all about what you prefer and what works best for you.
