So for about 2 years now I've now my spirit animal, Ingus. He was a tan wolf with bright blue eyes. He would always calm me down if I was upset and talk to me when I need to get things off my chest. Recently however he seem to have gotten a mate of some sorts (idk of spirit animals can have mates that's just what he told me) she was a pretty white wolf named Angala. A few weeks ago he told me he was leaving me and then just left without saying anything. No matter how hard I meditate or try to communicate with him he won't come back to me. Am I doing something wrong? What should I do? I feel so lonely without him.

Wow I've never heard of something like this before. I thought spirit guides couldn't leave you. Their job as a spirit guide is to always be there for you. Maybe you just need to clear your head a bit more before meditating.

Before I respond, let me remind you that using text speak is against the rules on this site. Please spell out your words. It's "I don't know", not "idk". Thanks.
Now, in response to your question, spirit animals often come to us because there is a specific lesson we need to learn from them. Once you have learned that lesson they will leave you and let you move on.
If this is what has happened here, and it sounds like it was, your wolf will not be coming back. Instead of trying to find him again I would suggest meditating on what animal is going to take his place. Don't feel bad about his going. Rejoice that he feels you are learning important lessons. Look forward to what comes next.
Lark has it right on the nose. It is not at all uncommon for people to have several guides that come and go as you grow and learn. Sometimes, the act of leaving is itself a lesson in learning to let go.
Instead of trying to pull your guide back to you, spend some time remembering what you learned from him. Reflect on how he helped you find calmness. Practice what he demonstrated and make it your own. How did he calm you? What questions did he ask? What reflections or statements did he make that helped you regain perspective? Carry those with you and make that wisdom yours.
Then all that is left is to ready yourself for the next step in your journey. Re-open yourself to new possibilities and new lessons and see what comes your way. ^_^
I apologize for that. It's an old habit of mine and I will do my best not to do it again.
From what I always heard, spirit animals are t supposed to leave you and that you have one that stays by your side for your life. Raided if what you're saying is the case, wouldn't he have explained why he was leaving and that I had learned a lesson? I don't feel like anything has even changed in my life. I don't feel like I learned a lesson which is what's confusing me.

I find this curious as I have never heard of a spirit guide having a mate or leaving for such a reason. Perhaps you have grown and changed without noticing it as it can be subtle from your point of view. Still, this mate business has me wondering if your spirit guide is nudging you to find a mate or to be more social. He could feel that you rely on him too much and that you need to learn to move forward on your own as he may feel his eternal presence would prevent your growth going forward. I know you must miss him as he has been with you for so long but there must be a reason he feels it's time to leave you.

The others have pretty much hit the nail on the head. It's likely he was saying he no longer has a purpose in your life because you've grown past needing him and it translated into him having a mate.
You're likely going to find another spirit animal in the future :)
