Athena Worship

Athena was A Greek Goddess that wasn't born from a mother. Showing her power before Birth. I think She new of achilles as the greatest fighter to ever live. She developed the horse bit. She is a protectress So let it be known that this Goddess has alot to offer!

I'm curious as to how you think she showed her power before birth? Sure she sprang out clad in armour but that after birth. Is that what you meant?

As for what she has to offer that is rather debatable depending on the Hellene you ask.

Go to the site www.greekmythology.com/olympians/Athena and you'll read she was born of zues without a mother. Rather like a titan of some sort.

Please keep in mind it is Zeus, not Zues. Additionally, your comment is misleading as Athena did indeed have a mother whose name was Metis. She was simply swallowed by Zeus while pregnant with Athena. Whom then had Hephaestus cut opened Zeus's head to let Athena out fully grown and adorned in armor.

"This, however, is opposed to the common story, that Hephaestus split the head of Zeus, and thus assisted him in giving birth to Athena, for Hephaestus is there represented as older than Athena."
