your third eye chakra is the sixth in a line of seven. you need to start from the ground up to balance them, as going in the wrong order, or just picking random ones to focus on can result in negative effects. chakra's are energy pools, the energy flows through these pools freely when balanced, when imbalanced they pool in some and can't get past others. an overactive third eye can cause migraines and hallucinations [among other things] when balanced you can have some clairvoyant abilities, but it's more for insight and creativity, not psychic powers. [it's just one possibility of a broad picture]

i really suggest you start from the root and work your way up.
