You need to be more specific when asking a question so your thread can be better answered

well, for starters your question can have a wide variety of answers depending on many things. 23 is just a number, the fact your see it is coincidental. i can also guarantee it isn't 'always 23' when you look at a clock. your mind is a powerful thing, you probably made a mental note of it one day and began to subconsciously filter out the times it didn't say 23 on the clock.

now, that's a logical answer, if you want a more spiritual answer you can look into numerology [a subject i do not study so i will not lecture you on] which you could then interpret it as '2', '3', or '23'. some people also theorize certain numbers appear backwards [say in a dream] so you might really be dealing with '32'. again, this is a personal view some people have.

on a more personal level, i consider 23 lucky for myself as many good things has happen to me involving that number [my birthday for example, many cousins have birthdays or anniversaries, i met my boyfriend on the 23, my matrons festival falls on the 23, so on] however, other people see it as unlucky [it's also the subject of a Jim Carry movie. a serious movie, not a comedy, so take that as you will] you might also consider looking up any deities associated with the number as it could hold spiritual significance.

there, i've just given you 4 possible options to your answer. as for 'why don't you just tell me the answer because you're a novice' i find that attitude highly offensive. [trying to remain calm while i type to be honest] firstly, how do you think we got to be a novice? because we demanded answers on forums, or because we researched for ourselves? you don't just wake up one morning knowing tarot [for example] you have to study and practice. people are here to help you, to point you in a direction and give advice not to spoon feed you the answers. if someone decides they want to type out an article on a specific topic to share the knowledge they have gained after years of research, that's fine. they are not, however, obligated to do so. they put in the effort, therefore they should reap the reward. not some random person who see's they're knowledgeable and doesn't want to read several articles to find their answer [and in this case, a quick google search would take 5 minutes] this might blow your mind but when i was starting out i had to go to this place called a library, and use this thing called a card catalog, and sometimes had to have books ordered from other branches. it would take weeks! you have the internet at your fingertips, you can get the answers far easier. i'm sure in the same time it took you to reply to SilentSyren you could of typed it into google. [heck, you had to wait for her response anyway]

We are all busy. However, many of us made the time to study and to learn and continue to do so. We have limited time still, we come here to share advice and to discuss certain topics. However, we still have things to do and we are allowed to choose what we go into depth on and what we do not. If you cannot accept that other people are as busy as you, in my opinion, you have failed to grasp an important concept of life and knowledge. I will not bend over backwards to help someone who is unwilling to help them self or who is egotistical as to assume that what I worked for should be given to them without them doing anything to earn it. You are not entitled to my knowledge, or anyone else's.

Being selfish is acceptable, just don't expect others to assist you in it.

I honestly find you being rude to those who are higher up then you.
They aren't being selfish, they gave you answers best on what they know, you just choose to ignore those answers.

Since you can't figure out how to use google or just to naive to google something yourself I took the liberty and google it myself. Here is what I found

While I cannot answer your question, I am new. As in brand new to all of Wicca and everything involved.
I find it helpful and very refreshing to research. There's so many things that do not have answers. Most things are interpreted personally. Also, I believe we owe the novices and higher a great deal of respect.
