Everyday Witchcraft

Hello Everyone,
I wanted to share with you some of the ways I like to practice magick every day. I hope this can help people starting out in magick or people still in the broom closet.

- Daily tarot draw – quick to do and easy to hide if you need to.
- Protection jewelry – this can be something you make yourself.
- I draw sigils on the labels of my clothes for confidence.
- I also have a sigil for good sleep drawn on my pillow case (if you don’t want to draw on your bedding you could draw a sigil on paper and sleep with it under your pillow).
- Herbal tea makes a quick drinkable potions – e.g. chamomile is calming before bed.
- Draw sigils on my toast with jam before I eat it.
- Lemon grass soap in my morning shower to wake me and invigorate me for the day and then lavender soap at night to help me relax.
- Exfoliating my skin = banishing bad energy.
- The most important thing – Positive thoughts, I try to put good thoughts out in the world so hopefully they will manifest.

Share any ways you do magick every day I would love to hear new ideas.

Great post, Hazel :) I usually drink herbal teas too, jasmine is my kryptonite. When cooking, have a purpose or care in mind and you're well on your way to kitchen magick. Which spread do you use for your tarot drawings?

Making sure my feet touch the Earth, to ground myself and the Earth kind of takes the bad energy. It leaves me feeling great, it's like natural medicine. This is a neat thread, I'm looking forward to reading it after people post..

Athena, I use the celtic cross and zodiac spreads the most. For quick readings though I just pull one card or do a three card spread - the past, the present and the future.

Darth Tabby, I love the idea of working grounding into your day, I will have to try it.

Great Post Hazel! It's a very good thread idea!

I always watch the sky when I'm outside, It's very relaxing to see the clouds, birds, sun and the moon and It makes me feel great and relaxed. Sometimes a little realxing, helps me to understand my visions.

Fab!

I gotten to the point where any little chore I do, I consider it magical. Showering is cleansing, cleaning my room is an act of devotion, etc. I like the sigils with the jam! Imagine on little crackers, it'd be soo cute.

Some of these are really fantastic ideas. It doesn't take much! Amazing how simple things we do every day can really be magical if you think of them in the right context.

Those are my usual spreads too :) I'm thinking of studying Runes since they're small and easy to store.

Indeed, magick is everywhere, the air, the scents, the earth, the music, the history and the atmosphere around you, magick is more than wonderful, it is magical (yes, pun intended)
