I was on a spell and it said that you had tobe a level 10 wiccan or else it wouldn't work. What does this mean, I kinda need this answer ASAP...Thank You Much!
You don't need to be Wiccan to cast spells, if in doubt write your own spells, there are no levels in Wicca, it's a religion, which makes the spell very dubious.
Nothing. Yes certain Wiccan branches have degree systems they do not determine what spells you can cast, they determine how much you've studied. [Also, I don't know of any that go up to 10]
If you're not Wiccan, you can ignore the degree completely. Anyone can cast spells, but certain 'rules' are actually guidelines exclusive to certain paths. [Like the threefold law or Reds, it's a Wiccan concept not a law of Paganism] if you don't believe in it, don't worry about it.
Some possibilities, Paras, are that you may be trying something which is simply not feasible to accomplish; perhaps as a novice you're not well-practiced and need to work on your fundamentals more.
Perhaps you are trying to do something better accomplished without magic.
There's a number of options why a spell is a dud. Do you know 'the basics' yet? [E.g. energy work] if you don't know how and why magick works the spell probably won't because you're casting wrong, you need focus and energy. If you're just lighting a candle and reading words you are not casting a spell, you need to get into the right mindframe and focus energy into the task.
Next, the spell could be flawed. Maybe its a spell for something not possible by magick, or perhaps it's procedure is incorrect. If it's a working spell type, research the ingredients and see if they work in that specific type of spell.
Third option could be the universe/Gods determined you do not need the spell. Maybe it just requires more work from you. [Example a spell to find your lost sock. Just keep looking] you might also of cast too many spells at once and they either yelled 'that's enough' and stopped listening, or you drained yourself of energy and didn't have enough to properly cast.
