After much talk about coven craft projects and such, I've decided we should give it a go. Here, in the February Craft thread, post about a craft you are interested in attempting to make by the end of the month. If you need ideas for DIY projects, there is a list on our Pinterest.

Check in occassionally as you work on your handmade craft to let us know progress. You can post pictures of your progress in your photos in your bio, or you can upload them tohttp://tinypic.com/ and post a URL here for us to look at.
Best of luck! I look forward to seeing what people might make.

As I posted in the idea thread, my craft for the month is a nature jar.
I haven't figured out all the details yet, but I plan to begin by buying a simple mason jar. I will then go to the beach for a set number of days (likely seven to make it a week). On each day, I plan to do a devotional to the God Aegir, Goddess Ran and their kin. Each day, after my devotional, I will walk along the shore and find something to place into the jar to symbolize the ocean, the beach, etc.

To be honest I've not anything planned for February, but March is when I'm planning on buying stuff for my official first Book of Shadows.
It's going to have a oceanic/beachy theme obviously.
Last month? I made my set of FUTHARK runes on medium-small sized white shells with gold leaf paint. And then I used some sculpey glaze I had left over from making altar tools last summer, and used that to seal both sides of it. I guess I'll leave a picture of it later, since I don't have a webcam for this computer. ( I could only use my phone )
I made something kinda like the nature jar, except it's a jar with crystals that can improve my mood and various feathers, ginger tea leaves and a pretty yellow leaf.
Not sure if that counts, but it's still nice to have.
I may try crafting a wand. I've been looking at the idea, and it seems Ash wood is a good pick for me. I will most likely order a pack of wooden ash dowels, to make the wand straighter so it will conduct energy easier. It's not traditional, but I don't have any Ash in my area, so it's the next best thing.
