I have a pretty overactive imagination, and things get stuck in my head pretty easily. Right now, I have a couple Creepypasta guys stuck in my head, and I'm trying to imagine new things for a book I'm writing, which is pretty difficult when those Creepypastas keep popping up randomly (same thing happened when I watched Freddy vs Jason). Does anyone know of anything to help me get rid of those memories or to just help me focus?

You could try some calming tea, like chamomile. Taking a bath before doing any magick can be useful too, especially when you have an overactive imagination (like me). Even meditation is difficult for me so I find more unconventional methods better, like focusing your mind on a sigil when casting or a candle flame if you can. Instead of trying to force the images out of your head, replace them with other things.
Meditation will definitely help in learning to focus your conscious mind as well as work with your subconscious mind. You may also want to re-evaulate what you are putting into your subconscious mind. Perhaps the things you watch or listen to may not be productive to the goals you are trying to reach.
