I need help.

Sorcerers and sorceresses. Wizards and witches. I ask you to help me. I need help. When I first joined, I went straight into casting magic and not the basics. I messed up. Now, I haven't practiced for some time, And I wish to know where to start with the very basics.Then how to progress. Please help. Sincerely.

meditation is a good place to start. learn to clear your mind and focus. when you're ready, try some energy work such as charging, grounding, shielding and so on. a simple way to do this is to visualize/feel positive energy entering your body as you inhale, and negative energy exiting when you exhale. once you feel charged with positive energy, visualize/feel a silver dome of energy surrounding you, protecting you from negativity. this should be done daily, as you go about your day, be aware of this shield, and try to notice if anything seems different in your daily routine.

i don't know your path, but i do suggest picking up a few beginners guides to help you such as Wicca: a Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham or Wicca for life by Raymond Buckland. i do recommend Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft [by Raymond Buckland] very informative, and at the end of each chapter there's questions or activities to help you learn. they're not all things like 'what's an Athame' i remember a lot being personal questions to help you in your path. i suggest buying the book, but if you can't for whatever reason, i did find a PDF of it you could use:
