Hi there & welcome. Yeah you should mediate regularly! I think you need to relax, mediation is not hard, at all but the tricky bit is getting your Mind to switch of, you need to clear your head. If you find hard closing your eyes & clearing your mind. Maybe try to soft music. I use natural sounds at times but not all the time now as I can clear my mind. You could also focus on something like a candle, stare into the flame.
