It seems i have no other choice but to believe. I've taken breaks from my practice before, the belief is lasting.

For me religion is a constant in a life that is constantly changing, it's something that I can come back to in the darkest of hours and can help carry me through it. Whilst I don't consider myself a part of any formalised religious group magic is very much a part of my personal faith, I acquired it from my grandmother and it's just always stuck with me.

I believe in Magick because it gives me the ability to help others even more than before, and Magick has let me see this world in a different way.

I believe because I can see it.
I can see how much its helped me and changed me for the better.
before I started Wicca I was a very, very messed up person.
But I tried it, I thought "Hey, I don't have anything more to lose."
The more I did it the better everything became, everything seemed to fall into place. It's amazing.

Magick is all around us. I believe because my eyes are open to seeing what others deny or under-estimate. I don't need hope or faith to believe in magick. People who believe through hope or faith still have their eyes tightly shut, and they just imagine what could be seen. But they're still blind, they still have doubt. It's all a matter of opening your mind and seeing the world from a different angle.

As for practising magick. I believe it because I see and experience the effects/results.

I believe magic is frequencies. such as you and me have a different one from each other but if we learn to commit and connect our freuency's we often find ourselves having a strong bond together such as friends, lovers, mothers etc. One of the most common we know of is music it has its own vibrations which allow us to listen to different vocals and frequency's. Some songs call to us more then others I believe this is due to our connection(signal) with one another or object or etc.

Like your birthday has its own sequence of vibrations. What I am trying to say we are the magic we are the signal we are able to lift or raise our energy in my case frequency to do as we bid.

Sorry for the ramble..

Subjectively, I am compelled to by my perception. I can't ignore something that I am both intrigued by and know that is there, and know what I can do with it. It is a medium through which I live my life, for the sake of unity for my family, so that the lineage, no matter where they go and no matter what they do, that they may know and do stay as one, knowing that lack of knowledge breaks unity, and which it is faith that provides a door to perseverance.

I look at my mother's hometown, and I am pleased, because the community is so tight-nit. You can generally tell how segregated a community is by the number of churches there are. There is but one and only one church there. Then there is one more thing, even if there is one faith, it doesn't matter, because that congregation can also fail by lack of knowledge. That also goes right back into the importance as staying as one whole; you gotta remember your history, then you gotta know your faith, after why you know your faith. And follow it. "A big circle of trust." By the way, a church was one example of a way to measure unity, in an occult perspective. It says a lot of things.

Really, I just want to smack the face of anyone that wishes to or tries to break my family. I am just a part of my family in my own way. I do and see things that are in the dark, and in the same manner I go within the hidden.

I am the kind of person that watches as everyone leaves, to pick up their forgotten baggage. I feel both intrigued and then compelled; both Saturn and Jupiter. I seriously care for family and their place in unity, and it is like my job to take out the dirty laundry. In a whisper, "Shh, don't tell them. I'm their laundry gnome, who takes care of their socks, to make profit." LOL!

"Rise and rise again, until lambs turn into lions." I also believe in magick because I believe in magick in a young girl's heart. ;) I am a lover not a fighter.
