Yes, meditation is the answer. Sit quietly before any sort of table.On the table have a single object; it can be anything from a lighted candle to a small statue. I was taught with a small bowl of water!
The idea is not to "empty your Mind". That's impossible. The idea is to concentrate on just one thought,whilst concentrating on the single object.
Eventually you will go into a sort of semi-trance. The one thought will disappear. And then wonderful things will happen! You will get new ideas. You will discover knowledge you never knew you had.
I wouldn't say meditation is easy; but it is not all that difficult either. It needs practice.
