Tarot Over The Web:True??
By: / Novice
Recently I have noticed that there are quite a lot of posts asking for a Tarot reading over the web. It is not my intention to 'flame' anybody, but I would like to discuss what others think of this.
It is in my experience that to give a person a reading, whether cold or warm, you had to 'connect' to the other to make sure the cards correspond to the other person. Do readings over the internet accurately connect the Diviner and the Client? Tell me your opinion.

In my opinion it depends on the reader. I've met people who I honestly believe could truly do things like sense a persons emotion over the Internet through words they typed in a message (seemingly reading an emotional energy imprint) or send energy to a person at a great distance. I believe that if someone is skilled enough they could connect with another person's energy well enough to give them an accurate reading or as accurate as possible, but for the majority I doubt readings from such a distance results in an accurate reading. In the end I enjoy getting a reading just to see what it says but even when I feel the person is skilled I don't put a lot of stock in it because the future isn't set in stone, though if the info is positive it can put one in a temporary good mood.

That is soundly said. I do beleive to a certain extent that one may be able to decipher someone's mood or personality over the internet, and as for your comment about Tarot readings being enjoyable anyway, no matter quality, Good for you. There are too many people who fret over their fortune, and I agree completely that a reading over the web may not always be true but those with enough expirience may attempt it, and it is enjoyable anyway, despite circumstance.
Advice? Well I must say that if you are a Tarot reader/ Diviner, and are wanting expirience reading, then go ahead. You may even want to try asking the person what they are worried or concerned about, perhaps even their general personality as long as it doesn't involve personal information.

Gekko you are very right indeed the reader must be able to connect with the person for who the reading is .This connection can go around by few ways .First one is most direct way when the reader is enough skilled working with energy that he /she can connect to the unique energetical print that we all have . In order for that to be done ,if that is a stranger ,I personally ask that the person is online in same moment as i am working .This aids a lot the connection ,also it is preferable if the person is easy going and enough open ,does not try to hide from you kinda .If the person is playing hide and seek the reader may find himself in struggle .Some people say they want to be read or reading done to them any kind (including Tarot) and then they just get scared and shut down or get intimidated .
People who are psyhic and sensitive are more easy to be found than someone who is sceptical and very closed minded .
Second way that the reader can go around is asking his spirit guides or the spirits of the dead to aid the connection .Also spirit guide of one person can conned to the spirit guide of another .That is valid for angel guardians too .Spirits are energy beings and they find easily energy inprints or other spiritual beings .
I often use just the first method ,but if i have to do reading to someone who i just have met and i am not very sure for his energy print i ask my spirit guides to aid me a bit .
However i always explain to people that thier reading will match only the state of mind and energy they are having in this exact moment and in the minute they change it this outcome may change too .Nothing is set in stone ,we will make our choices daily .There are very few things that we can not avoid if we really put our mind and will into that .

That is the way things work for me ,but that does not mean what is valid for me will be valid for everyone .
I will advice that you know well your online reader before you trust him/her fully to give you advices about important decisions that can alterate the course of your life complitely .
Other than that we often kinda practice doing it for fun with friends .It is good way to train the ability to connect online and to somehow start interprete things correct for them .As everything else this takes a lot of practice in order for more accuracy to be achieved .So far i have been practicing three years and i am happy with my results .

Well as Artindark said it depend on the readers ability and their way of reading. And it's really thru that to read online is tricky and challenging but good for practicing skills. In my case I use help of my spirits and stones.

Perhaps you can ask the Diviner questions as to the steps they take or what deck, layout, technique they are using if you want to assure yourself of their originality. Not all people who read ovr the internet are fakes and quite a few people on this site do Tarot Reading quite often and being a Diviner is a living. So before you deny you should question, yes?

Gekko it really does not matter to you what deck the divinator uses and what kind of spread when it comes to either the reading will be possible or not via online .The deck really matters only for the reader as long as he or she goes well and connect well with it will work .As for the spread i often use horse shoe spread which is based on just five cards and it works for me .I believe the number of cards matters when it comes to the details that you will get .More cards more details ,however then again it depends of the skill of the reader how he/she will connect all those cards in whole relation of issues and circumstances .Sotimes too big number of cards can confuse you even more ,and just one or two will not provide much of detail. So again the spread matters to the Divinator and how well he/she can interprete and relate symbols .
Then again i sometimes go by gut feeling when i choose deck for particular person or i ask them to pick one if i feel i need to go this way .

Lets not forget that Tarot is a simply a tool it depends of the user of the tool the outcome not other way around .
Spoon will be always spoon no matter if toddler usse it to poke the food or the lady uses it to eat according the etiquette .
Of course spoon that is small will be more appropriate for kid ,than for older person .Same is valid for decks .As long as it suits the reader and his/her skills it is good to go .

I do know this, I was refering to the earlier remark pertaining to 'the person reading my fortune might just be getting it from the internet.' The questions I suggested asking were to make sure that the person doing the Diving over the internet was doing it genuinely. Otherwise, you are right deck or layout do not matter in particular, it is the results, yes?

It could be like a game of chance but I believe that if it is a legit tarot website and you are supposed to get a message, you will get that message. It will happen for a reason. I dont trust all tarot sites though. Some are just computer generated rubbish
