You can open your eye by practicing your visualisation or in a meditation concentrate on the spot between your eyebrows and visualise an opening, visualise the light that streams through it and try to remember key things like the colour that shines through, if it shines or flows if it vibrates or moves straight. Is it cool is it warm, perhaps images are flowing through. Do this for a few days and it should feel more open as days go on.
This is very short and i know this, but you can find articles on this site, and i can mail you links for methods and practices for opening the third eye.
I am going through the same process and I have to tell you, it's a wonderful exhilarating experience, yet it can be quite frightening too (if your energy is not properly channeled, or you are unbalances, it can lead to nightmares, seemingly out-of-the-blue emotional distress and it can drain your energy)
Personally I only work on it every days, and I combine different processes.
