Lately (or rather for a long time) I have been depressed. I don't know why. I have an ok life, but yet I feel... sad. Why? Can you please help.

It's most likely not related to anything magical or on this site.

People get sad, or melancholy in their life: sometimes for no reason. You might want to visit your doctor, it could be health related. Depression, seasonal affective disorder, etc are serious issues.

I do not think it is non magic related. I think that it may be due to all the sorrow in this world. And I think I am feeling a strong amount of this.

Well, you said you have an "ok life" maybe that's not what you want. Maybe like many others you want something more from life, you want something special, maybe that is why you went out and found this site.

True. I have always been interested in ghosts (spirits they are actually called). But I am unable to talk, see, or hear them.

Have you looked into spirit work throughly? There are many ways to speak with them. As for hearing and seeing them, I would suggest third eye work and chakra balancing. Any practice that helps you become attuned to your surroundings will help as well :)

Write down a list of all the things you have done or are doing that bring you joy.

Healing occurs when you increase peace and joy in your life, but this is something that one has to be proactive about. If you wait around hoping to one day be happy, that day may never come. You must create more happiness, joy, and peace for yourself.

Start by identifying what it is in your life that makes you happy, where you forget about depression, and then get busy making sure that happens for yourself *every day*. Sometimes it's a matter of reprogramming yourself. Best of luck.
