I don't keep much profile information on my profiles, and what I do is at least 4 months old. My personal information doesn't really exist, since I either don't see a point in typing it because no one will care, or it is unimportant to me. Right now, my profile has a quotation I liked from a Native American quotes book I happened to get from the library. I don't really see a point in adding anything more since most people know me.

For another matter, I've had a long profile before, and a short one, and a blank one. When I don't know what to say, I will say nothing, or very little, but when I actually have something to say it's hard to shut me up.

Ugh Honestly one of the worst things I see really is when the first bit you read on a profile is, "I'm omnisexual, what of it!?", or those overused poems, or any of that emo crap!

Now I can see the idea of having a "personal" bio coming into play here, but all of this is just kids who think they're being rebels or feeling big and bad because they're being idiots.

I also see people state a very clear threat against any who email them "hi" or whatever. "I'm a friendly person but if you drop by to say hello I'm going to block you." This bothers me too. It's like they expect people will want nothing more than to talk to them , or ask them for a stupid spell. Seriously, we don't care if you have that policy or not, and it's surely not going to stop anyone from doing it!

I agree, but also for those trying to join into covens, there showing there true colors in the profile, now on a coven leader point would you have some one in your coven who sounds more disturbed then some on here.

But yes I will take note and dwindle my profile down to the basics, as people will learn peoples true colors in time if there not in their profiles.

Haha, it is annoying, but personal biographies are to show a person's nature.

So I plan to keep mine as long as it is, and to keep my warning right where it is, because it says something about me.

Think about the people who has those copy and paste. Most of them are Teenagers and i know in High School and even college poeple are judged on these idiotic profiles. They want a voice and on here they have that voice. In High School your nothing more then a kid and can't even debate the unfair rules of the High School without being laughed at by the older folks. They have the copy and paste so what you are not forced to look at profiles. Stoney stop judging others so harshly. You have no right to say these people lack sense.

In my opinion Profiles should state what your studying and what you wish to learn.
nothing personal like orientation that is unnecessary this is a magick site not a dating pick up site

No it isn't a pick up site but how can you teach on a deep level if you don't know the person? The profiles help give us a sense of who a person is and what they are like. This in turn can help us teach in a way that they are more comfortable with and can learn more from. No matter what you do or say personal lives always show up in a picture. Its who we are, we are social creatures and personal lives will also included.

But still the profiles shouldn't contain very personal information, in the rules it says to keep the content you make or have on this site clean. (this was in my own words)

What does your own personal info have to do with this site or what you wish to learn? you don't have to put that info in the box its unnecessary
