what i think or was told is that time and space is somthing of great power and when one mess with it things could get worst for wheen the powers lay things on their paths the powers put them on the path thats serves the best way so to cheng the past will mest up the future. there are lots of things that i want to change in the past but i can't also if i can and you can and they can then well a whole new time war will start and everything will be as messd up as ever.
Time doesn't really exist. It is a man made theory based off of our planet. Altering the past could do terrible things if you succeeded. Haven't you ever seen the movie butterfly effect? I love that movie because it truly portrays the amazing importance just one choice in our life can make.
Don't focus on the past. Live in the present and plan for the future. People die because it is nature to die. Let it be. Trust me, the other world is 100 times better than this one. They're the lucky ones, we are the ones trapped in these bodies cursed to live up to 100 years restricted from our true potentials. I don't fear death, when it comes, I will accept it. Of course death will probably end up blessing me with a long life as ironical humor.
I got to agree with white Raven on this, time is simply an illusion, its not some tangible substance one can stimply pick up and mold to whatever shape they want. To do so is simply impossible, and if it were possible it would still be highly unethical
From my point of view the reasons are twin: power and ethics.
Have you met a witch strong enough to create a proto-universe containing only themselves, then change the fabric of reality so that in the rest of the universe time runs backward, then changing it back to normal after reaching the disired period in history, then dissolving the proto-universe, then killing hitler, then re-creating the proto-universe, then speeding up time, then fixing time, then dissolving proto-universe... Sound a little hard to me.
And then ethics, have you met anyone who truly understood how everything affects everthing else? and indeed who understands the nature of time (and i mean in a way more than meaingless babble about how time is perception because that's arrogent thinking assuming humans are the be all and end all... but i digress) because a person would have to understand absolutely everything to even begin to have the right to change the lives of every human on the planet. Perhaps killing hitler would cause someone not to be born? and what right has anyone to wipe someone from reality...
Come on people ya need to believe in the ability to do that yes you may be able to truffle with the past and change the present but that is probably one of the best things that could ever be used if its used by the right person. And come on this is Wicca ain't it Wiccans are able to do things that normal people call impossible so if you call that impossible then yur not a true Wiccan, never believe things are impossible.

Please do not confuse all magic users with Wiccans. Wiccans are but a small part of the greater whole. Magic follows the rules of nature and that doesn't allow for messing with time. Learn what you are doing before you try to do it!
