My dreams (plz read!)

Does the law of 3 apply in Hoodoo, Ceremonial, because if it does then its news to me.

Lets let the original posters make their own minds up about FREE WILL, rather than people forcing incorrect views down their throat every time.

You should never do a spell against someones Free Will and you should not at all whatsoever cast a spell to break a couple up.

Your dreams can be the result of multiple things. You may have unexpressed feelings towards him that are manifesting in a way in your dreams. You may still have strong feelings for him which is causing your innermost desires to reveal themselves in your dreams. It may even be that the two of you are so connected mentally that you are meeting each other in the astral plane while dreaming...unintentionally of course. Or it could mean that you want closure. He broke up with you and you dont know why so you may want closure. You should figure it out for yourself and decide whether or not you should move on, but i suggest you move on from this one guy and start opening your mind and heart to other men. You should acknowledge all your positve memories. Also, acknowledge your feelings for him and then slowly let them go. It might take awhile but its worth it. In the meantime, make a dream sachet for protection against heartache, and painful feelings and put it under your pillow, mattress or bed. good luck.

You should do any spell you wish as long as its justified in your eyes, whether thats breaking a couple up or making someone love you, its entirely upto you what you do, that means you have FREE WILL to do what you wish, its their fault they don't have a protection spell ha

If you do a spell to break a couple up, youll get it back 3 times worse which could possibly mean you wont find love. By breaking a couple up using magic, your sending that energy out into the universe and itll come back to even worse. So imagine feeling the heartache of a break up but feeling it 3 times worse then usual. Just keep that in mind.

OR don't imagine that because its not going to happen, I don't believe in the "3 fold law", as I believe it was first mentioned in 1949, could be wrong as I don't waste my time reading about nonsense like that.

If someone wants to do something then they should, without having people crying when they don't like what they read.

conjuredoc is right - the three-fold law is religious dogma, not some ancient universal law of magic. not all practitioners (or most) believe in it - only in Wicca and certain Neo-Pagan/European-based witchcraft traditions.

Okay, three-fold law aside, how would you feel if you were happily in a relationship and someone did a spell to break you up and end that relationship for you without having a choice in the matter? Even if the OP doesnt believe in 3-fold law, its still going against free will.

To me magic isn't something that out of the blue makes a situation happen, thats why we use divination on a situation, because it might be impossible to break a couple up, or to have someone fall in love with you.

If the spell works, how would they know any different, it would all be natural to them, just like it is normally when a couple break up.

Well then i guess it comes down to a sense of morality and belief. I personally will never ever do a spell to break someone up because i cant imagine if someone did that to me. But do what you want but be open to accepting any consequences that come along with it.
