Thank you fallenstar. People don't seem to read before posting.

I do not know too much about "spirit" as an element. I was always taught that spirit was apart of every element but remained predominant because it is the essence of all things.

If you know any information on spirit orientated "personalities" please do share. I've heard of people using purely "spirit magick" but I've never found valuable resources on it.

You're welcome, WhiteRav3n.

People with the spirit element are brave, cheery, and well.. have a lot of spirit! They are also very wise, and usually make correct decisions. They are very strong mentally.

You are correct in how you say spirit is a part of every element, spirit is a part of everything! All elements are equal, but they all would be nothing without spirit.

Blessed Be.

Common question, - "what is my element?". Common answer "meditate on it".

I disagree. Chances are, if we haven't chosen our favourite element (that is completely disgrading that we already are all elements), then we are likely to be inexperienced in that kind of meditation, too.

This is my answer to the element question. Take it out of your head, and look for it in the world around you. I would hope to see an affinity with every element. The phrase "water is my element" is somewhat confusing to me. What are you? Some soup?

So. Let's say you want to explore water. Have a bath. Enjoy how your body weight changes. Pour the water from hand to hand. Or listen to the shower beating on your head. Go to a river, see how life is supported by it. Dance in the rain in no clothes. Go to a stormy sea and absorb the power of crashing tides over you. Observe the subtle drop, and the powerful and destructive force. Drink water!

For Earth. Don't sit there meditating about it. Get dirty! Grow some plants, - food, herbs, flowers. Smell it's scent, breathe it into your being. See the life that is in the earth, - beetles, worms, centipedes. Observe the decomposition of life into fertile ground, for yet more life. Keep a compost heap. Eat food!

So, you see how it goes. After you have done that, then read about how our natures correspond with natural elements. Earth is our teacher, we are of the earth. Then, maybe, meditate about it.

You should practice with all of the elements. Each of the elements represents and is used for different things and limiting yourself just to those elements you are gifted with will serve only to retard your growth as a magician and leave you unbalanced.
