I have used salvia on a couple of occasions. The effects of salvia are like you are in a dimension of delusion. It is very magical, that is why I like plants. The last time I have taken it, I felt as if demons were after me.. if you seen the lord of the rings the first one when frodo was on that castle mound and those black demons were surrounding him and ended up stabbing him.. well he was in some kind of a dimension well I experienced the same thing on salvia.

New to the forums... finding topics I can post relevant information in, so... I apologize for reviving old topics, but it's better than making new ones that cover the same things.

Just wanted to share my experience with Salvia...

I've tried it several times, and I have no regrets.
I still prefer Cannabis, but it was different, so I can't really compare the two.

I bought dried leaves, which I had to smoke from my bong (my pipe just didn't cut it). My friend told me to torch it, rather than to just use my lighter, but I went with the lighter, just had to do it quickly. It took me a few attempts to actually feel anything, but since it's legal here in the United States (is in Georgia, anyway), I figured I'd kill off the bag and see if I couldn't feel something.

Well, I finally got it to work.
I felt as if I was sliding down the ramp I was sitting on, and the trees seemed to be glowing in the sun.
The experience only lasted about fifteen minutes, but it was definitely enjoyable. I couldn't see myself using it in magic work though, simply because of the duration. It also made me rather dislike having people talk to me, but then again, I'm weird when it comes to social encounters anyway, so it may have just been me.

Forgive me if this has already been addressed, but is there any way to make the duration of the effects last longer? I'd like to give it another shot, but yeah... maybe it was just the Salvia I ordered online?

Be very careful with this. This herb is completely illegal in 15 US states, illegal only if used for consumption in 4 other states, and also completely illegal in 13 other countries.

I've done Salvia twice. The first time I just packed a pipe and hit it like I was smoking, um, something else.

So I took in a huge amount. I rember I was sitting on the edge of the bed. I totally did a cartoon like thing and just fell over on my side paralyzed. I was inside a net, being dragged down a beach. I couldn't open my eyes but I could I feel the net around me and could hear the sound of being dragged and the ocean. From somewhere around me I heard a familiar voice tell me in german "this is another fine mess you've gotten yourself into". And after what seemed like hours I woke up. It had only been like 10 minutes.

Another time I was with this girl and a friend of mine and me and her both smoked it fine with only a little weirdness, my friend smoked it and freaked out in the corner crying.

The way I see it, these types of herbs, as well as all others, should be treated with respect and should not be used just for recreational use.

Very good information...but like Bardou said, every herb has to be treated with respect...Everything can be addictive if you don't know your limits. When handling any kind of herb, you need to know everything about your health status and physical state AND the herb to avoid any unwanted reactions!
be careful and blessed be!

I know nothing about this herb. I have smoked cannabis a few times when I was young. But I would never use any kind of drug when working magic. I like to know exactly what I am doing.
