Vampirism
By:
Why is it that so many people on this website have this strange idea that Vampires have fangs, are immortal and go around killing people? Vampirism is a medical, and to an extent (not everybody believes in this), spiritual condition. I have received several annoying messages from incredibly stupid people either asking me how to become a Vampire, even after I explain it is not 'cool', or why I 'think' Vampires are real. People need to educate themselves before speaking crap. /rant

I feel you.. Yeah it???s so annoying how people believe the Hollywood Stereotype that they see on TV rather than read a factual book about Vampirism, concerning Psychic and Sanguinarian vampires.

How is it an improper term? They both mean the same thing.. Using titles such as Psychic vampires and Sanguinarian helps to prevent the prototyping that all vampires drink blood.

Callum
PLease tell me you are joking!

Do you think that a bunch of preteens and teens calling themselves vampires is something new? The vampire subculture has been around since before my day in the 90's.

It is also worth saying that many of the people here who call themselves vampires think they are a combination of twlight and anne rice books.

This site also has as large collection of merlin wannbe's and perhaps a number of people who would tell the world they went to hogwarts of they were allowed to do so by their current head master.

Sadly a large number of people feel their real lifes are not worth living so they make up stories on the internet and tell people they are vampires, demons and other such beings so they can feel better about themselves.

DarkestLight, Sanguinarian is improper because it is just a term made up by a girl who made a website who's name happened to be similar. It is as improper as "Ragnorian" would be if I made a similar website and said anyone with those symptoms is a Ragnorian.

Callum, people see what's on Hollywood, see that the topics of this site are considered fantasy by the majority of the rest of the world, and assume that this site is all about role-playing in spite of how many people may say it is not. It has been that way since I joined and I don't see that changing any time soon.

Shesh, people post way to much spam, TKDDragon your right personally I think it's like some trap or somthing to intially become intrested in one another then comes a web of decet.Enough ranting though, get back to the point on hand about vampires. The OBVIOUS thing Callum is stating that vampires are not what you think.

Probally doesn't help that the ad above this thread is a vampire quiz with immortal vampires with fangs as pictures.
