In Wicca the boline is a white-handled ritual knife, one of several magical tools used in Wicca. The boline is used for cutting cords and herbs, carving candles, etc. It has a small, straight or crescent-shaped blade and a handle which is traditionally white in color.

Three:
Misconception #1:
Witch Craft Gives You "Ultimate Power"

Misconception #2:
Wicca and Christianity Are Utterly Opposed

Misconception #3:
Witch Craft Is Satanism

Four:
Deosil is symbolic of life, positive magick and energies.

Five:
Widdershins means to take a course opposite the apparent motion of the sun, going counterclock-wise, lefthandwise, or to circle an object, by always keeping it on the left...

Six:
A psychic shield is a way to block the negative energies and action of other people, so that they do not affect you.

Step 1:Imagine a bubble that surrounds your entire body. You may see it like a giant soap bubble, or like one of the balls you put rodents in, or just a giant glass sphere.

Step 2:In the beginning, you need to be alone in a quiet place, and simply learn to visualize the bubble on command. This is very important. If you can’t visualize the bubble easily, you won’t be able to use it when you need it.

Step 3:Once you can visualize the bubble easily, it’s time to put it into use. It helps if you have a mental image for negative energy. Some people see it as black dust, vine-like tendrils, dirty oil, etc. Use whatever works for your mind.

Step 4:Whenever you are in the presence of negative energy, such as an angry person, someone being mean to you, or anything that causes you stress and unpleasant feelings, imagine your bubble appearing around you. Nothing can penetrate your bubble unless you want it to. Negative energy bounces or runs off the outside, and can’t affect you.

Step 5:You psychic shield also works whenever you are having negative thoughts. If you’re angry or depressed, picture your bubble appearing, and pulling the bad thoughts and feelings away from you, and keeping them out.

Step 6:Don’t keep your bubble up all the time, use it when you need it, then allow it to disappear. Maintaining a psychic shield takes a lot of energy, so you want to use it sparingly. It can help to imagine that the surface of your bubble can absorb positive energy, so you won’t be weakened as much when using it.

Step 7:You can also use your shield to drive away things that cause you stress and harm. Put up your bubble, then imagine a sort of shock wave bursting out in all directions, pushing away the people and energies that are disruptive to you. Be wary however, psychic bursts should only be used in extreme cases, such as when you feel someone is likely to do you physical harm.

Seven:

“A sacred space doesn’t have to be religious, although it is for some people,” Turn the Life You’re Living Into the Life You Want. “Sacred means that you are honoring something, whether it’s your religion or you.”

A sacred space is a place put aside from your normal activity...

Eight:

There are many variations on how to cast a circle (also named “calling corners”). If you belong to a specific Witchcraft tradition, you should follow the methods of your own tradition. If you are an Eclectic Witch (picking the best of each tradition) or still exploring which tradition you want to join, then you can cast a circle with the basic elements and experiment with what works best for you.

Most circle castings call on the four elements (air, earth, fire, and water), once for each direction (north, east, west, and south). Some circle castings also call on a deity (one per direction, or sometimes your male God for two directions and your female Goddess for the other two, alternating between male and female — with water and earth traditionally being associated with the female). The choice of which element to match with which direction varies by tradition. If you are casting the circle with others, each person can make the call for each “corner” or direction. You can experiment and each try different corners at different castings to see which fits each member of your coven best.

Tradition may have specific sayings, ritual, or poems for calling each direction. You can make up your own poem or song.

The castings are done in a circle, typically clockwise in the northern hemisphere and counterclockwise in the southern hemisphere (although some Witches in the southern hemisphere also cast circles clockwise). Typically the castings start with the east “corner”.

Often the castings include ceremonially walking around the circle. Some castings will actually draw the circle (with chalk or sand), while others will mark it with incense smoke or candle flame. Some castings are entirely magickal (with the marking of the circle being a magick aura). You can combine methods.

8. how do you cast a circle?
Physically determine the bounds of your circle, if you want. Do this by drawing a circle on the floor, sprinkling salt water in a circle, or by laying a cord in a circle (make sure you tie it). Anyhow, the circle is usually as wide as you are tall
Place all the objects you will be using in your ritual inside the circle
Represent the elements in the four quarters of your circle (called corners by some, but a circle doesn't have any corners!). Place something that represent Earth in the north, Air in the east, Fire south and Water west. Bless (or ask for consecration of) these things. (See tips for things that represent the elements.) Be sure to have some food and drink to share with the spirits, to thank them and to replenish your energy.
walk round the spot where your circle will be thrice, counterclockwise: "Cast the circle thrice about, to keep the evil spirits out." State the purpose of the circle.
Invoke the elements and spirits and deities you wish to work with. Call them to the objects that represent them. Take each of the objects that represent the elements around your circle, filling it with the power of each of them
Meditate for a while now. Meditation or astral projection might be the main act, or it serves just to shift your consciousness
Close the circle when you're done: pay respect to whatever spirts you invited, thank the elements before you remove their representative objects, and finally undo the casting by casting in reverse.
