Well they do love their brothers and sisters LOL You know the ones that are good christian folk, the rest of are not considered siblings but the spawn of Satan. I do feel really bad for them though, close minded and missing the awesomeness of god, as in the higher powers at be. They can not see it was god who created everything including that which they feel is evil. God likes diversity. If he wanted us to all be the same we would be. In fact I would love to see him play a joke on us where that happened and we were all turned into Michael Jackson for a day, alive that is. ;)

Agreed, God is not the Old Man with the Long White Beard. God is not male or female. God is both, and at the same time, neither. Our puny human minds cannot comprehend the whole of the Universal All that is God. Therefore we worship the Aspects of God, breaking them down into portion that we can understand.
The Xtian God has many attributes I can relate to, BUT on the other, There aspects given him by a certain portion oh his followers that I just cannot abide, therefore I could never call myself Xtian, ever again. This doesn't mean I hate Xtians. Not even you Faust. lol. As a matter of fact, I've looked forward to reading each of your postings. I've enjoyed our conversation tremendously.

And Greymagi, don't let anyone discourage you from posting. I enjoyed reading your post very much.

It is called pantheism, the belief that god/ess is in everything that exists; although I personally prefer animism in wich everything has a spirit or soul, if you will...

However, it seems a better idea, that god/ess resides in everything, rather than being some anthropomorphic entity

I believe that both is true, a bit of the All resides in everything. Thou art God...and so is my dog, my chair and that rock over there on my altar...

thank you salamander it takes more than that to discourage me my focus is on what is being said not how it is written anyway this is the way i write back to topic then
does it really matter in who what why and the way you do believe in the beliefs you have so long as you do its after all for you personally no-one else if you tell people what you believe in and they agree then good if not leave the to theirs this is a spiritual exchange trying to convert thats politics those exchanges are more about men than gods (women than goddess) could bear to deemed sexist

Raven, I think to many people take the bible literally.
We were created in God's image,
but what were we at first?
Spirits.

Spirits are made of energy.
God is made of energy.
Does God need to look like a human? Not really.
Does God require any of the body parts we have? Not at all.
So why would he look like a human?

I believe he is energy.
What's more, I believe he is the universal energy
that flows through and around all things
both living and non.

Arguments and stupid fights are the cause of unmature and close-minded people who refuse to open up to new ideas and try to understand others.
The discussion of religion should be peaceful for each and every member that takes part in a discussion, there is some sort of law being respectful towards others. If they start arguing in an unfriendly manner, then they do not have enough faith in their religion, and should not take part in the discussion.
