Why,on Earth, would anyone want to control the elements? Does anyone really imagine that a human can control fire, or water, wind ,rain? They are beyond human control.

To clarify my latest Post. There is some "control" by humans over rain. Usually using aircraft to "seed" clouds, to turn the water vapour into droplets, and cause rain. It has been mildly successful over "dry" areas of land.

Start off by learning about all the elements (which requires going to an area that has them like a river, a field of grass, etc.) and start relating to them.

What you need to do is study the history of Elemental Magic and then learn to get in touch with it. The first step is Water: Go to an area that has a river or a creek. A simple forest near your neighborhood or housewill work, too.

Once you get to the river/creek, sit down and start meditating.

Water is the Element of peace and serenity.

You need to look deep inside your mind and open your third eye so you can actually feel and know the true nature of water.

After that is done, go on to the next Element, Earth.

You can find it anywhere, the best place to get in touch with the earth is somewhere dealing with Nature's creations lika a rocky hill, feild of grass, a meadow, etc.

Start meditating and begin relating to its form. Earth is the Element of strong will and courage.

You need to learn to be strong and courageous just like rock.

The next Element is Air.

Air is everywhere and the best place to get in touch with it, is to go to a place that is familiar to you or somewhere that has a lot of space so the wind can be free. Air is the Element of freedom and longevity.

You have to hear, see, and breathe the true nature of air. Do not disbeleive the power of air because it willjust knock you down.

The next Element is Fire.

Fire is the Element of destruction and purity.

Unlike the other elements, fire has two sides, a light and dark.

Fire is bad and good.

People think Fire is just the element of destruction and torment, but its not. To get in touch with this element, you need to meditate in front of the sun, where its hot.

The last Element is Spirit.

The element of life and grace.

In order to get in touch with this element, you need to go somewhere that has spiritual activity, like an Oasis. There you will learn about the true, wonderful nature of its element. After everything is complete you need to learn about all the Kinesis. You should first start off with Telekinisis since you use your mind when using elements to your advantage. Make sure to pick an element that you have the best connection to. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to message me ^_^

I think Kyrinn might mean "petrakinesis" and not "tetrakinesis". The proper Latin stem meaning "rock" is "petra-", as in the words petrify: turn to stone, petroglyph: marking on stone, and the given name Peter, meaning "Stone". Technically the -kinesis could be written as either Geokinesis or Petrakinesis, with Geo- meaning more manipulation of soil, earth and dirt and Petra- meaning manipulation of rock, stone or crystal.

And anyway, it's a semantic argument. Tetra is the indo-european root for the number 4, as in tetrahedron: a 4 sided polyhedron, or tetrad: a group of 4. Petra is the root you were thinking of.

'Kinesis' has nothing to do with controlling the elements it has to do with divination. E.g. Scrying with a bowl of water is hydrokinesis and divining with fire is pyrokinesis.
