You can't alter your species, as Bard said. It is impossible because that would require altering your *physical* body via changing DNA, encoding genetics, the works essentially- which can't be done. It goes against all scientific law.
This is all fun, but to really alter one's DNA would require an impossible miracle. I regret to inform you that this does not work. Maybe in the astral, or wherever, but not this plane of existence.
This is absolute crap. I've said this spell 20 times. 10 times while I was dry and 10 times with a finger dipped in a glass of water. And I feel just like I did before I said the above mentioned lines. In a month, I will be back on this post just to prove that you cannot transform into a mythical creature, no matter what you do.

Shapeshifting is apart of the astral. Your spirit form can be molded however you wish (although the soul itself and who you truly are never changes). This cannot occur physically.

You cannot change your physical form. If people could, wouldn't we be seeing mermaids, fairies, unicorns, and other mythological/spiritual being running around? Wouldn't it be on the news? We wouldn't need airplanes, we could just turn into birds! Silly stuff. Please use common sense. The internet is full of fake information. People claim things all the time. You shouldn't believe everything you read or see (pictures can be altered too).
