Please do not think I am being disrespectful in anyway at all but what exactly is all the 'Ranking' stuff? I only joined this forum yesterday and I was checking out the forums and everything when I came across this subject. I also checked out all the 'Newbie' stuff to see if I had missed something but couldn't find anything about Ranking.
Personally though, I like to judge people on what vibes I get from them. Weather it is in person that I meet them or on the internet. I learnt a long time ago to trust in the vibes I get from people. It has severed me well.
As far as 'Ranking' goes, I am sorry...or maybe not so much sorry but it will make no difference to me what anyone is ranked at because I was always trust in my vibes and my intuition before a 'Ranking'.
I was also under the impression that this site was for all people of similar interest in the Craft & similar weather your were Wiccan, Pagan, Witch or other, without being judged or ridiculed because of your believes. Some where we can go to learn and develop further in our chosen paths. Yet I have read several postings already where people have been really forceful with others that believe in something different to them. To me, this is really sad to see.
I personally find it very distracting when those that are very petulant start running around and claim that their falsities are actually truth, but we all start somewhere. We all were at the age where vampires, fairies, and other such 'mythical' creatures dwelled everywhere within our minds, but we grow up and learn, then we teach those others how to do things. We are entitled to our opinions, but sometimes our prejudice gets in the way of logical thinking and knowledgeable, well practiced people are ranked as ignorant and incompetent. ANYBODY who sticks their nose up at those who are curious, learning and even those who have not even began, are more petulant and oppressive than those who are classified as 'Fluff'. Even though our ranking is flawed and moderators can sometimes be grouchy, all I can really say is be patient and clear minded.
Sorry I actually missed a page of this post and found it this morning. I am only new to the site so still have my training wheels on:) It was however a pretty in-depth explanation on the subject, which was great. Just wished I had seen it before posting like a twit:/
That is how I am finding myself feeling about the whole thing Ryuu66. There have been a few post that I have gone to comment on but backed away from. Its is a wee bit intimating for me as an All Round Newbie.
The truth is that the actual knowledgeable members who try to speak the truth and things from the heart are suppressed because the sight is actually ran by evil Satanic people, who are very deep into the occult, who have deep roots and connections with many other things of the craft. They don't want truth to be revealed and they pick and choose who they see best to "act" as leaders, because they are simply here to expose many to the occult but not teach solely of and about the occult, but because secrets must be kept secret to an extent because this is a public website. They will give you an apple for an orange and an orange for an apple. It is a big lie, and by their fruits you shall know them.
Words of wisdom speaks true, and truth hurts, but my love is that I care you know the truth, and not perish. Lo, and woe to those who believe they will be promised something great here from the site, because it is all a lie. Your friends you shall make and keep, but the authority is not yours to prosper.
Wow that is a pretty harsh statement to make without giving anyone a fair reasoning behind your theory. I realize that I am new here but honestly, I would also like to see the proof behind your accusation.
I may be ranked now as just a novice, but I completely disagree with this statement.
Yes there are those on here that are Satanist and there are those on here that are labeled as dark magic.
But there are also the ones on here that are wiccans,Enochians, Kitchen witches, and so many more
Don't label everyone by a few.
And there has to be balance. You cant have light without the dark. Everything in life has its opposite. If we as light didn't have the dark how would we know that we were light???.
Now as far as saying that only those that are ranked knowledgeable is Satanist and practice the occult. I know better.
I don't agree with the ranking system either. However I sure would'nt go as far as to call names and make faults accusation's.
Look at what this trend here has done. Now we have newbies that don't even want to post in the forums. And possibly not even want to go in the chat. How are they going to learn if not from us? How are they going to be able to ask questions? Isn't our goal here to help others. And I know from experience that when I help others I learn myself. There are still questions that I don't know the answer to.
So it make me hunt and dig until I can find it. That way me and the one asking has learned something new.
In my oppinion. Which everyone here has their right to their own. But in mine. This trend has caused enough damage. And I don't believe for one moment that Bane intended for it to go like this. Name calling...false accusations.. This really needs to stop.
Like I said I don't agree with the ranking system either.But for goodness sake, STOP hurting each other over this mess. We need each other. Whether light or dark or all the colors in between.
