Alrighty this is a new game thread. This is how it will work: First person names a deity, second person responds with all alternitive names, surnames, and titles they know of said deity. Then afterwards adds a new deity keeping with the alphebetical theme. Then just rinse and repeat like so. Once Z is hit just restart at A and keep passing it on!
This is both a game thread and a good way of learning a little something about other gods or sharing the information you have about certain deities. So it's kinda meant to be like flash cards! You are also free to explain the entmology of their name so the meaning and origin but do not have to.

Chaos Is also called Chaos, Haos, Khaos, Arche
Chaos was, according to Greek mythology, the origin of everything, and the first thing that ever existed. It was the primordial void, the source out of which everything was created, including the universe and the gods.
As the goddess of the air Khaos was also the mother of birds :)

Other names for Demeter are as follows; Ceres (Roman), Deo which is one of her Greek names, another one is Dameter shown in the Greek text as well. Her Greek name comes from the Cretan word for grain. "Erinys of Thelpousa" is one of her titles in which she is believed to have bore Ares Drakon of Thebes.

Other names for Freyr include Frey, Yngvi-Freyr (Sweden).
He is the twin brother of Freyja, son of the sea god Njord. He is presented as a part of the Vanir. He rides the Dwarf made gift boar named Gullinbursti which means, "gold mane/gold bristles". This came about from more of Loki's shenanagans.

Gaia (Gaea) was the goddess of the earth. She was one of the primoridal elemental deities (protogenoi ) born at the dawn of creation.

Other names for Hecate are Hekate which is the Greek spelling as Hecate is the Latinized spelling. Hekata is another Greek name as Hecata is another Latanized name. Her name translated to, "worker from afar". She is the Titan Goddess of witchcraft, necromancy, crossroads, the night, the moon, and ghosts. She assisted Demeter in the search for Persephone when she was abducted by Haides.
